Low Tides Help Oyster Fishermen, October 1934

Hundreds of oyster fishermen were busy in late October 1934 harvesting oysters along the Hillsborough River near Charlottetown. They were out on the flats of the river picking oysters at low tide before daylight and their lights created a twinkling appearance which was a very unusual sight.
